Transitions in the Parish Office
Congratulations to Cici Yeager, our Communications Coordinator, who has accepted a new position at St. Mark Catholic Church in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her last day here at Sacred Heart is Wednesday, October 7, and she begins in her new position on October 12. We are tremendously grateful for so much that Cici has contributed: her prayerful design of the "Few Minutes of Faith" video testimony series, her oversight of our transition to the Flocknote communication system, her support with livestreaming many Masses and devotions, her massive efforts in keeping us connected during the recent turbulent months, and much more. While we're sad to see her go, we can't help being excited for the St. Mark's community who will be receiving her considerable gifts and talents. Cici's mother, Van, will continue her devoted service as our parish custodian, so we'll be excited to welcome Cici back to Sacred Heart when she comes to visit.
Also, congratulations to Homero Ramirez Leon, who has accepted a promotion from part-time Ministry Coordinator to full-time Communications Coordinator. Homero has worked in the parish office for less than a month, but has already demonstrated his initiative, organization, pastoral sensitivity and aptitude with technology. As a native of the state of Guerrero, Mexico, he brings important Spanish-language skills to our office, which is fundamental to our parish communication. Thank you for your prayerful support for Homero as he takes on new responsibilities!
